Having started the journey with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the Rajan Shahi production is not only one of the most-watched shows in India, but it also often tops the weekly BARC ratings. In the last few episodes, it is seen that Ruhi ties the knot with Rohit, and the Poddars welcome her with open arms. On the other hand, Akshara breathes her last after watching Armaan and Abhira get married. They promise to not be husband and wife.
Today’s episode starts with Vidya asking Armaan if he is married. She goes on to tell him that he has betrayed her trust. Vidya gets angry as he lied to her and kept it a secret from her. Armaan tries to explain his side but Dadi doesn’t let him. She tells Armaan that his relationship with her is over. Rohit tells her not to say so, Vidya asks him to stop talking. Dadi starts venting out her anger calling Abhira, a spoiled brat, and the other family members call her a gold digger. Abhira tries to explain her side and even pleads with them to know the story from her side so that they can understand her. Armaan takes a stand for Abhira and tells his family to mind their language around her as she is his wife. Dadi tells him that they have trapped him, and Armaan tells everyone that he is alive because Akshara died while saving his life. Vidya asks him why he would marry Abhira, Armaan tells her that it’s a promise he made with Akshara and because of the Poddar family’s respect. Dadi tells him they will never accept Abhira as their daughter-in-law, and that he bought a useless girl in their house. Armaan tells her that Abhira is his wife. As Abhira completes all rasam perfectly, Ruhi recalls how she couldn’t complete her own. All the cousins welcome Abhira with open arms and Rohit asks them to give her space so she can rest. Abhira recalls her and Armaan’s promise of staying together until she completes her studies and becomes a successful lawyer. As Dadi and Vidya are busy fuming over the fact that Armaan betrayed them, Rohit comes and reminds them that he wouldn’t have been alive if it weren’t for Abhira’s mother’s sacrifice.
In the upcoming episodes, it will be seen that Abhira and Armaan will be maintaining their distance and stay as friends. Ruhi will start getting jealous and call out Armaan for hurting his family’s feelings. He tells her that he will never play around because of someone’s death.
